What. A. Great. Movie.

I love the casting, the visuals, the atmosphere, the classical music... they were all magnificent!
Colin Firth was nothing but astounding, and did a wonderful job as King George VI, and I absolutely loved Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter. I've wanted to watch The King's Speech for two months now, and after seeing it, I was not disappointed at all. I now see why this movie was nominated for the Academy Awards... and I hope to watch that on ABC on Sunday, Februrary 27th!

I'm hoping The King's Speech wins Best Picture, Colin Firth for Best Actor, and Geoffrey Rush for Best Supporting Actor for the 83rd Annual Academy Awards! :)


[EDIT 2/28/11]: The King's Speech won Best Picture and Colin Firth won Best Actor at the ceremony! Go Colin! Geoffrey Rush didn't win anything, but it's okay! (Christian Bale won Best Supporting Actor)

This movie has captivated the classic tale of Rapunzel, along with many twists and comedies within the story... and that wasn't the only reason Tangled was a masterpiece, but also because of its vibrant and astoundingly beautiful visuals. Rapunzel's talent for painting was brilliantly portrayed of a typical 17-year-old girl who wanted so much to achieve her dream and venture out into the world on her own. Though the movie did have a cliche ending, it was nonetheless a timeless classic that only the most innovative film creators could bring to the world!

"Since Tangled was aimed at the family audience, it being cliche is exceptional (it is a fairy tale after all)... and I would recommend this film for EVERYONE!"

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

Yea, I forgot to post this, but... the gang and I went to go see Transformers 2 on Friday, June 26. :D
The action was thrilling and the graphics were awesome (as expected), and the comedy was pwnage, but the storyline was kinda messed up. :/
Man... I want a 2010 Camaro so bad now... XD

Action, Graphics, Comedy = 5 stars
Storyline = 2.5 stars

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

I watched Sweeney Todd on bootleg 3 weeks ago, and it was awesome.
Johnny Depp made the movie look great.

Oh, the DVD for Sweeney Todd is coming out tomorrow, April 1st. (Haha, April Fools' Day.)
